A typical worship service at First Baptist is 60 minutes long. We’ll begin with a
welcome, a few announcements, and an opening prayer. Next, Sarah and the band
will lead us in a couple of songs, followed by the Scripture reading for the day and a
couple of more songs. The pastor will share a message from God’s word. We typically
close with an invitation. Our 11:00 service is live-streamed in our CLC (Christian Life
Center) on a large screen with plenty of social distancing seating.
If you happen to walk through the doors of our church, you won’t be met with shame,
guilt, or condemnation. We don’t care how you’re dressed or what candidate you voted
for. Our church is made up of real people who are trying to figure this thing called “life”
out together. Services are geared toward both the long-time Christian and the first-
time guest. When you walk out the doors at the end of a worship service, our hope
is that you will have experienced God in a way you maybe never have before.
Due to COVID-19, we ask that you enter the sanctuary through the side entrance
(nearest the concrete ramp) and exit through the foyer of the sanctuary. About 3/4
of the sanctuary is still set up for socail distancing. Two collection baskets are
located in the foyer near the front doors in which you may place your offering.
All touchable surfaces are cleaned between the services for your safety.
